Vermillion

My final two projects for Graphic Design Studio were mostly personal. I knew I was lacking in environmental studies and illustrating places and scenery in general. I typically opt for a more minimalist style, with a main focus and perhaps a few additional elements. Having access to Cintiqs at the college, I wanted to expand my portfolio in subject matter as well as medium, and attempted to digitally paint in Photoshop. This print is available in a variety of formats on society6.

Vermillion is based on a photograph I took at the Fushimi Inari-taisha shrine in Kyoto, Japan.
