Dotonbori
As a sort of foil to Vermillion and The Koi of Koko-en Garden, Dotonbori is illustrated and designed as a minimalist travel poster. I had been looking at a lot of Risograph prints at the time, and loved the bold colors and graphic look which inspired me here. The large, glowing, and sometimes moving signs of Dotonbori left an impression on me, so I illustrated these by hand from photos I took and then digitally recreated them in Photoshop.
